Why your coaching website is not booking calls
You do not lose clients because your site is slow by a tenth of a second. You lose them because a stranger cannot tell in five seconds who you help, cannot find a way to book, or gives up on their phone before they ever read your offer. Here is what to check, and a free tool at the end that checks it for you.
Check my website freeWhat actually decides whether they book
This is the part most guides skip: not a list of trends, but the handful of things that actually decide whether a visitor books with you or closes the tab. Fix these first.
A visitor can book in one click, from anywhere on the page
The most common reason a coaching site quietly loses money: someone is convinced at 11pm, and there is nothing to click. They intend to come back tomorrow and never do. A booking link that follows them down the page, not buried in a contact form three scrolls away, is the single highest-leverage fix on most coaching sites.
The first screen says who you help, not just who you are
"Certified life coach" tells a visitor nothing about whether you can help them. "I help burned-out founders get their evenings back" tells them everything. The headline they see before scrolling is the whole pitch. If it is your name and a photo, it is doing no work.
Proof from other people, above the fold or close to it
You are asking a stranger to trust you with something personal. Your own words cannot carry that; other people's can. One real testimonial with a real name beats three paragraphs about your method. A site with no visible proof asks for trust it has not earned yet.
It works on a phone, because that is where they are
Most coaching traffic is on a phone, often from a social post or a link a friend sent. If the page renders the desktop layout zoomed out, or the booking button is off-screen, you have lost them before the first word. This is invisible on your laptop and fatal on their phone.

How do I know if my coaching website is any good?
The honest test is not how it looks to you, it is what a first-time visitor runs into: can they tell who you help within five seconds, is there an obvious way to book, does it work on a phone, and does it load before they lose patience. The free check on this page measures exactly those things and shows you what to fix first.
Why is my coaching website not getting clients?
Almost always one of three things: the visitor cannot tell quickly who you help, there is no clear way to book a call, or the site is broken or slow on a phone. Traffic is rarely the first problem. A site that does not convert the visitors it already has will not be saved by more of them.
Do I need to pay for a website audit?
No. The check on this page is free and needs no signup to see your score and the top issues. You get a plain-English report you can act on yourself or hand to whoever built your site.
